Ryan and I decided it would be fun for him and Sarah to spend the day together skiing. She has been wanting to go so much this season and we haven't been able to make it to Tahoe. What a day they had together. On Monday, Ryan took her skiing at Alpine Meadows. It brought back many memories for Ryan when he used to ride the ski bus up to Alpine and Squaw in the winter with his friends. Sarah and Ryan had an amazing day. Great snow, no crowds and amazing views of the lake. Ryan came home a very happy dad and Sarah could not stop talking about how much fun she had.
Sarah thought it was very cool that her skis matched her dad's. This was also Sarah's first year skiing with poles.
Ryan and Sarah shared a Snickers candy bar on the chair lift.
Sarah is so funny. She is skiing on intermediate runs and now she wants to ski the advanced. She thought it was pretty cool that she was able to ski the backside.

Go Sarah!! You are already WAY more advanced than me...although I confess I've only skiied once and snowboarded twice...but still! So Awesome!
The pic of the 'mini arm' made me laugh so hard, by the way. :)
