The Boys

Sometimes Jack and Ryder just crack me up.  I was taking care of a few things upstairs and I heard the boys rumbling around downstairs.  Soon the sounds became a little worrisome and I went to check.  The boys were making me scrambled eggs!  Yes, they had the 18ct. egg carton and were cracking away.  At least this time (yes, it happened about two years ago) they were cracking the eggs into a bowl and not onto the carpet.  I am not ready to teach them how the stove works so that is as far as they got.

We Voted!

Ryan and I voted this morning.  The boys thought it was fun to drop off our ballots at the fire station and to get a sticker.  Sarah was able to vote in school.  Ryan explained to her about the presidential candidates and there opinions using a great halloween candy analogy.  We will watch and see what happens and we will both be happy to not see any more campaign adds...even with commercial advance it always seemed to show an add that we were opposed to.  

My Three Pumpkins and Halloween Fun

Interesting.  That would have to be the word I use to describe carving pumpkins with Jack, Ryder, and Sarah.  Sarah was patient and helped to create her design for her pumpkins face. Ryder and Jack poked, cut, and poked some more at their pumpkins until it was time to carve the faces they picked.  They were very excited.  Jack asked, "When can I Jack-o-lant my pumpkin?"

Party on the Court!  Dinner, friends, and games followed by trunk-or-treating and trick-or-treating.  We had a great time planning our first annual Halloween Bash.

Fright Fest 2008

We made an impromptu trip to Marine World for Fright Fest.  Yikes!  We tried to stay away from some of the more scary people.  There was a presentation of Michael Jackson's Thriller and then a funeral procession that was too scary for most of us.  The kids had a great time with their cousins and friends.
