Unsweetened Chocolate

If you take a bite of this

I love my Ryder.

Little Leprechauns

Dear Leprechaun,

I would like to turn green, well at least just today.  But, if you don't want to turn my whole body green, just do some.

Love,
Sarah

The boys really wanted to trap some leprechauns so we made a trap.  We did catch one but his friend helped him out.  They messed up the house and the kids were ecstatic to see what they did and what they brought them.

Our trap was knocked to the floor and they hid the remote control.

Static Electricity

This is why we love the trampoline.  The boys like to be "shockey".

Oh Hail!

Rain or shine Jack, Ryder and Sarah like to be out on the court riding bikes or climbing trees. (I went to document the riding in the rain moments.)  The boys were out bike riding and I went to call them in when I heard a large noise moving towards the house.  I thought at first that there was a fire truck or large vehicle driving on the road just past our house.  It kept getting louder and louder and then all of a sudden HAIL came pouring down from the sky.  I yelled to Ryder to get in and he bicycled as fast as he could into the garage.

Sarah remarked that this is the closest we'll come to having it snow in our town.

Birthdays

34 is okay but 33 was even better.  Sarah, Ryder and Jack brought me breakfast in bed.  They said it was a "healthy breakfast."  That consists of milk, a banana, Rice Krispies cereal and toast.  They had all made cards at the breakfast table with Sarah's help.  It was a great way to start the day. Later we went to dinner with Ryan's parents which was fun.

Birthday cake with the boys help.

My goal this last year was to lose my age in pounds.  I need a couple months longer to make that goal.  Hopefully this gift will help me get rid of the last few pounds.

A match

My brother Jason has cancer.  We found out in October and his life has been turned upside down.  At the end of January all of the siblings were tested to see if anyone would be a match for a stem cell transplant.  We were very excited to find out that 3 of my brothers match and are all suitable donors.  He has been responding well to treatment and will go to Seattle in a couple weeks for more aggressive treatment and a transplant.

I am very grateful that my brother and his family are being watched over and blessed through this crazy time.

2 Hours in Oakland

My parents were on there way to my grandfather's funeral and flew through Oakland.  My Dad asked if maybe we could come over for lunch while they were waiting for their next flight.  We picked up some In-N-Out and had a great time.  I never knew that baggage claim could be so fun!  It was a short visit but just enough to hold my kids over until my parents come and visit this weekend.  Yeah!
