Labor Day Weekend

We decided to go camping with family this Labor Day Weekend since our traditional family campout during Memorial day weekend has turned into the BYU father- son weekend.  The weather was wonderful and the cousins and adults had a great time.  The beach was warm and the nights were just right.  No complaints about being cold.  The boys also made friends with a little boy who had an arsenal of weapons to share.  Jack and Ryder thought he was the coolest kid ever!  Camping with the kids is one of my favorite activities.  They have so much fun being at the beach and playing and then after dinner and s'mores they are ready to sleep.

Happy campers having there cereal before we cooked breakfast.

The sand castle competition in Capitola.

The boys were trying to body surf, so Ryan grabbed the cousins boogie boards and Jack and Ryder had tons of fun.  They are little daredevils.

Campfire fun with our cousins.  We sing songs and have s'mores.  Everyone has a pretty good time, even the adults.

The boys best friend while camping.  Ryder and Jack love guns and weapons.  A few months ago, Jack asked if he could have a gun birthday party(maybe we could pass out NRA memberships as party gifts or maybe have a cowboy party instead.)

Ryder and Jack found the cozy part of the car to ride home.
