We decided to take the kids to stay overnight in Monterey a few weeks ago. It was supposed to be a rainy weekend. It was not raining in Monterey. We swam and enjoyed the hot tub until 10 p.m. In the morning Ryan found a local donut shop and we sugared up the kids before starting our day. We had a great time and we visited the Monterey Bay Aquarium and Dennis the Menace Park. According to the kids, it was "the best day ever."
I love all the hands on exhibits. Sarah, Jack, and Ryder loved touching the sea creatures that we don't often see at the tide pools.
The jellies are also a big favorite. We also watched the feeding at the Outer deep tank. The Tuna and Mahi Mahi are serious eaters. We saw a couple of collisions.
This is a great playground. Jack was being quite the menace.
